BLACK BELT COMMUNITY FOUNDATION
THANK YOU ! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
From the bottom of our hearts, and from one side of the Black Belt to the other...THANK YOU!
Because of your generosity on February 2nd, countless lives and communities will be positively impacted through your investment.
Our state has much to be proud of – let’s celebrate the success of Alabama Gives Day that showed Alabama's unparalleled generosity to the world!
Your support means so much to us - whether you gave a donation, forwarded our email, shared information of Facebook, or Tweeted about the event. During this event, the state of Alabama raised $743,985 from 8,464 unique donors. There was a total of 1,093 Alabama nonprofits participating and BBCF ranked in the top 100 for the amount raised and for number of individual donors. At the end of the day, even though we did not reach our goal, BBCF gave it a valiant effort! Thank you again to all. As we have learned, “one can never say thank you too much!”
Alabama Gives Day was supported by the Alabama Association of Nonprofits, the Razoo Foundation, the Alabama Press Association, Alabama Giving, Intermark Group and hundreds of nonprofits in our state. Alabama Gives Day made history by connecting new and existing donors with hundreds of Alabama nonprofits in just 24 hours.
Once again, Black Belt Community Foundation greatly appreciates your continued support.
A Transformed Black Belt
The Black Belt Community Foundation works to leverage many region-wide improvement efforts toward a common goal of transforming the Black Belt. We invite you to explore our website to learn more about how we work with community organizations, donors, and volunteers to forge a collective stream of giving from the community and other sources so we can enhance our continuing efforts to lift ourselves by “taking what we have to make what we need.” Please join us as we work to build a transformed Black Belt where all of our residents contribute to healthy communities and reap the benefits of our shared gifts and a productive regional economy.
