Florence Williams
Florence Williams is the daughter of Mrs. Edna M. Williams of York, AL. She was born and raised in York, AL, which is located in Sumter County. She graduated from Livingston High School in Livingston, AL with honors in the top 5% of her class in 2001. She is a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in York, AL.
Florence is a graduate of Clark Atlanta University located in the Historic Atlanta University Center in Atlanta, GA and received a Bachelors of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing in May of 2005. During her matriculation at Clark Atlanta University, Florence was a very active on campus serving on several club committees as well as playing clarinet in the Clark Atlanta University’s Orchestra.
Florence started working as the Regional Field Service Representative with the Black Belt Community Foundation in July of 2005 and is enjoying every minute. As a product of the Black Belt she knows first hand of the work that needs to be done in the Black Belt Region and is very excited to be on board to help work to make those changes.
